Hey, I'm Laura

I got my online business up and running alongside my full time teaching job as an assistant principal.

I live with my husband, 2 kids and my dog and have a successful career which I’ve worked really hard for over the past 17 years. I earn relatively well, but I am constantly exhausted and wanted more from life.

Having to ask permission to attend my children’s sports days and take unpaid leave to take them to the dentist or if they are unwell was not something I was happy to carry on with. Being tired constantly meant that when I did have time with my family I could not enjoy it. My physical and mental well-being was declining rapidly and I knew something needed to change.

So, I took the leap and set up my business in order to take back control of my life and be more present for my family. By growing my business, I will leave teaching and have more time and energy to enjoy with my family. It will also provide a salary which is more than I currently earn and will allow me the time and location freedom to work when I want, where I want.

Soon I will be seeing the sun setting in new places and taking my kids and my dog on plenty of adventures... all without asking permission or sacrificing my income!
